Magic Money I Story By Samruddhi

Magic Money

In a small, cheerful town called Sunflower Valley lived a curious little girl named Radha. Radha loved candies, toys, colourful dresses, and storybooks. Every day, she saw grown-ups rushing to work, shopkeepers opening stores early, and people talking about money all the time.

One evening, Radha asked her grandmother, “Aaji, why does everyone run behind money? Is money magic?”

Her grandmother smiled and opened an old wooden box. Inside was a shiny golden coin.

“This,” Aaji said softly, “is Magic Money.”

Radha’s eyes grew wide. “Does it grant wishes?”

“In a way… yes,” Aaji replied.

That night, Aaji told Radha a magical story.

Long ago, in a village hidden near the mountains, there lived a boy named Arjun. His family was poor, but Arjun had a big dream — he wanted to become a teacher and build a school for children who could not study.

One day, while helping an old traveller, Arjun received a tiny glowing coin.

“This is not an ordinary coin,” the traveller said. “It grows only when used wisely.”

Arjun was confused. He bought sweets with the coin, but the next morning the coin became smaller.

Then he used the coin to buy seeds for farming. The crops grew beautifully, and suddenly the coin became brighter and bigger.

Arjun learned the secret.

The coin did not grow with careless spending.
It grew with hard work, saving, kindness, and smart choices.

Arjun worked hard every day. He saved little by little instead of spending everything at once. Sometimes he wanted fancy things, but he asked himself:

“Do I need this now, or can I save for something better?”

Years passed.

His savings helped him study.
His education helped him become a teacher.
His work helped him earn more money.
And one day, he built the school of his dreams.

Radha listened carefully and asked Aaji – How can you define money?

Aaji said – “Money is like fire. Used wisely, can help us fulfil all our dreams but ifused carelessly, can create troubles.”

The next day, Radha received pocket money from her parents.

Usually, she spent it all on chocolates and toys. But this time, she took three jars and pasted labels on them:

Save Spend Share

She saved some money for her dream bicycle.
She spent a little on ice cream.
And she shared some to buy notebooks for a needy child nearby.

“The real magic of money is not in having it…but in using it wisely.”

Moral of the Story

  • Money is valuable and magical as it helps to fulfil all our dreams. But hard-earned money should be saved and spent wisely.
