Should Children Get Pocket Money?
In my opinion, children should get pocket money because it teaches them to be independent while spending money and being wise about what they want to buy. Children also learn how to handle money carefully and not waste it on everything they desire.
This money should be used to buy toys and clothes for children in the orphanages and to buy daily necessities like food for poor people. It also teaches the children how to be thrifty with money. Children should receive around ₹ 200 per month. If I were given pocket money, I would help needy people and buy gifts for my friends with my allowance.
However, the pocket money should be stopped when children don’t spend it wisely or buy things that are unnecessary. If a child is naughty or is not studying, their money should be taken away by their parents.
