Ever imagined that a computer could take you to space? Yes! You heard it right. This is what happens in ‘George’s Secret Key to the Universe’.
When I first saw this book, I was mesmerised by the look of it. Telescopes,comets,planets,
astronauts, rockets, all of this was so fascinating.
I got this book on my 8th birthday and I was really excited to read it.
George is our main character who never had any electronic gadget. But when he met his neighbors Eric and Annie, he was fascinated to see the computer they owned. It was a talking computer, which could send you to space. He was soon swept into an adventure in space courtesy the talking computer ‘Cosmos.
Now let’s talk about the authors. It is written by Lucy Hawking, Stephen Hawking and Christophe Galfard.
Who does not know Stephen Hawking? He was a great scientist. Despite being paralyzed from neck to toe, he discovered Black Holes in our galaxy.
The authors have a way of making space interesting. The writing style is also innovative. I was able to visualize all the pages.
I learnt a lot about our universe after reading this book. It is intended for readers 10 and above. I give it 5 stars.
