Do you still remember that proverbial kind of medicine that helped your scraped knee to heal quickly? Well, it was not the medicine that helped, but it was your mother’s therapeutic kiss.

A mother is that important person who makes sure you never shed a tear, and doesn’t stop loving you at your faults. In the early stages of our life, we cannot forget that person who changed our dirty clothes when we spilled food, stayed up late for us, and handled our tantrums.

A mother’s job is anything but trouble-free. Despite that, she generally loves her children, no matter what they do. She makes all these sacrifices wholeheartedly without anything in return. A mother’s care is priceless, and we should be forever grateful to that.

When we first got exposed to the world around us as teenagers, our mothers created the path for us and often had to take the fallout for the teenage angst. It is so amazing to know how fearless a mother can be when it comes to protecting her kids. Just like the avengers run towards oncoming challenges, so do mothers.

My mom is a person with exceptional courage, great faith and undeniably spectacular energy. She is always prepared with something positive to teach me and make me a person who can try to look and overcome harsh conditions of life. She has taught me lessons of forgiveness, faith, and morals.

During this Covid’19 pandemic, I’ve realized the true importance of my mother. These days are anything but ordinary. She always makes me laugh. Why do dad jokes get all of the credit?

When I think of my mother, one quality that immediately comes to mind is sacrifice. She doesn’t think twice when it comes to me and my sister. Thank you for always being there in my life and always looking out for me. I know these are the things that parents are supposed to do for their children, but I don’t think anyone else could have done it better.

I’ve never thanked you for doing so many chores and so much hard work that truly I should have gotten up to do every morning. This mother’s day, I want you to know that I love you and cherish you more than life itself.
