A vaccine is a medicine which is given to prevent a certain disease. This virus covid-19 came from Wuhan, China. It has harmed 100 million people. China, India, Russia and the USA have made covid vaccines. Few companies which have made covid vaccines are Pfizer from USA, Serum and Bharat Biotech from India. Russia has also taken out a vaccine by the name of Sputnik.

Scientists say that if children below 12 get the vaccine it may be harmful. There are some people who think their immunity levels are very good and do not want to take the vaccine because of the side-effects that could take place.

People who have chronic diseases prefer to take the vaccine. The frontline workers will be the first to get the vaccine. After them the elderly population of the country will have access to the vaccines.

In many countries, government officials have decided not to allow people travelling from other countries to enter, without taking the vaccine. For the vaccine makers, it is a big task to manufacture vaccines in such large quantities, and it will take a long time for all the people in the world to get the vaccine.
