Our special topic this month is birds! 11 year old Kabir from Hyderabad shares about his favourite bird – The Lyrebird which sounds fascinating. Read on!
Kabir Vernal, is an 11 yr old, primarily non-verbal child on the Autism Spectrum. He loves watching programs on nature, being outdoors and creating Art. Although he has quite a huge vocabulary, his communication is limited to being need based only. He can type independently to communicate what he likes watching, or about his favourite shows, books and music he listens to.

Lyrebird is my favourite bird. It is found in Australia.
I like watching videos of the Lyrebird on YouTube and the BBC Earth program hosted by David Attenborough.
The Lyrebird can copy the sound of other birds and sounds like camera shutter, car alarm and chainsaw.
