If I Were The Prime Minister of India | Essay | Bookosmia

India republic day

If I were the Prime Minister of India, what three areas would I like to improve on to make a better India in 2022?

India is a very diverse country. Like no others, it has many problems which need to be eradicated. If I were the Prime Minister of India, I would ban plastic, reduce the cost of healthcare and make education free for  all.

One of India’s biggest problems is the accumulation of non-biodegradable plastic. As we all know, plastic is  harmful for the environment and it never degrades into the environment. Due to its many uses, it becomes difficult to eradicate. Some states have taken measures to ban plastics but the central government hasn’t  taken any major steps towards resolving this complicated issue. I will altogether ban the use of plastic and  promote products that are eco-friendly.

Chronically ill people have never-ending hospital bills which are a burden to them. Just a simple fracture  costs thousands to mend. Many a times they are unable to pay them and are fighting for their lives without  any proper treatment. To avoid that I plan to make healthcare free for all in government hospitals.

Every child has the right to education. No one should be deprived of it. Impoverished parents do not have enough money to feed their children three square meals a day, let alone sending them to school. Fully functioning government schools will be set up in many more places with specialised teachers who will
be successful in explaining the importance of education to parents.

These improvements will increase the investments in human resources and will make India a developed nation.
