10 year-old Rhythm Shah from Surat writes about her beloved series about a middle- schooler, Greg Heffley, who writes about his life in a diary.
My favourite book is the children’s series, ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid’. I like how the author writes about his own life in the series. The author’s name is Greg and there are five characters in his books: his mother, father, brother, his friend Rowley and a character based on himself.
Drawn from his own life, his books are original. Sometimes he adds new characters in the series. Greg has written many books as part of the Wimpy Kid series, such as The Getaway, Dog Days, Third Wheel and many more. My favourite among them is The Getaway. This book is very famous and funny too, which is why Greg is my favourite author. He describes his family and writes about his problems in a comical way in it.
His books go on for almost more than hundred pages. I can read his books in one to two weeks. The book has different cool characters and I wish that whenever Greg writes a book, it reaches directly to me. I also want to be like him and write books based on my life.
One day I will finish reading all of Greg’s books. Thank you Greg for writing such an amusing series!
