There are eight planets in the solar system. Jupiter is the 5th planet of the solar system. It is a gas giant. It is the largest planet in the solar system. It has the highest gravitational force compared to any other planets. It has a giant red spot.

Can you imagine what will happen if Jupiter disappears from our solar system?

If Jupiter disappears the comets will strike the Earth and the life on Earth would vanish. All the planets will face the same problem. And the moons of Jupiter will hit other celestial bodies and even Mars will not be safe.

Jupiter’s gravity keeps the asteroids around it as an asteroid belt.
