Snow White’s magic mirror was once just a humble mirror that hung in the bedroom of her biological mother. After the first Queen’s death, when the King remarried, the new Queen cast an evil spell on the mirror. She asked it the same question again and again only to fulfill her whims and fancies. And the mirror was forced to answer her.

The evil Queen always asked the mirror, “Mirror Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?” The mirror had to reply, “You, my dear queen!” The mirror was nothing more than a puppet in the hands of the Queen. It was scared of telling the truth- what if the Queen, becoming angry with what it said, smashed it or put it in the dark dungeon? One day, the mirror gathered all its courage and told the Queen that Snow White was the fairest of them all.The Queen became furious and put it in the dark dungeon, never to see it again.

All alone in the dark, the mirror lived a sad life. One fine day, the Queen was banished from the kingdom for her evil deeds, and the mirror was free from the dungeon! With the spell broken, it was  happy to now become a part of Snow White’s bedroom.
