The Dark Light
They compel us to work in the darkness of the factory.
We get bruises, burns, and chemical reactions.
They don’t have the sympathy to give us a break.
They let us suffer in the darkness of the factory.
As a child, I’m supposed to be in school.
But I’m darkening my life to brighten the others.
And the government does not give us proper education.
We work so hard, but no one gives us respect.
Every drop of sweat shouldn’t be a result of working in factories.
It should occur as a result of playing in the sun.
A human is a human. A child is a child.
So, don’t we deserve the same respect?
So, don’t we deserve the same respect?
