Poem:
Who would have thought this is how the world may end?
With broken hope instead of broken bones.
Who would have thought we would switch places with the lion in the cage?
With the only way of survival being confinement.
Who would have thought we couldn’t even have done that right?
With all the hate in our community.
Who would have known the planet would flourish with our fall?
With creatures resurrecting from the past.
Who would have known this is how our eyes would open?
To all our adverse and negative impacts.
And now we know our true heroes and warriors.
Who are not the ones with swords or rifles
But with love and care.
Nursing and treating selflessly with kindness and perseverance.
To them I pay respect.
To the citizens working harder in unfamiliar settings
Who would have known this is how the world would evolve?
The torment showing us the truth as we grow stronger and victorious.
