Imagine that you are a bird and one day you go sit on a tree and you get stuck to it, and the next morning you are bird pie. Well, this is what happens in The Twits house.
The book I read is ‘ The Twits ’ written by Roald Dahl and illustrated by Quentin Blake.
My knee jerk reaction to this book was that it would be very funny. I borrowed it from my friend. This book is for those who love to get crazy by laughing to Roald Dahl books. I promise that after you read this book you are going to be in a barrel of laughs.
The book is about a couple ‘ The Twits ’. Mr. and Mrs. Twit are just like their names. They are also very mischievous as they keep pranking each other. They are also very cruel to animals. So the book is about how animals take their revenge.
Now let’s talk about the author. Roald Dahl was a British novelist, short story writer, poet, screenwriter and wartime fighter pilot. He had an impressive way of writing stories. The book was written so well that I could imagine all the pages. The writing style of the book was captivating. The cover page was also very funny because Mr. and Mrs. Twit were hanging upside down. My favorite part was definitely when they were doing pranks on each other.
After reading the book I understood that we should not hurt animals as they also have feelings.
Ages 7-13 is best recommended for this book. I would rate this book 5 out of 5.
