The Big Friendly Giant- Book review
Writer : Roald Dahl
Illustrator : Quentin Blake
Roald Dahl was a spy, ace fighter pilot, chocolate historian and medical inventor. He was the author of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda, The Big Friendly Giant (BFG) and many more brilliant books.
Today I will be reviewing one of his classics – BFG.
The main characters in this book are Sophie, of course The BFG, The Bloodbottler (leader of the atrocious giants) and The Queen. It is illustrated by Quentin Blake, who has illustrated more than 300 books and was Roald Dahl’s favorite illustrator.
In 1980 he won the prestigious Kate Greenway medal. In 1999 he became first ever Children’s Laureate and in 2013 he was knighted for services to illustration.
My favorite character in this book is The BFG because he is soft hearted, caring and always ready to help.
The book is based on the wonderful adventures of the BFG with Sophie.
The story was so great that Walt Disney decided to create a film on it. The movie released on 1 July 2016. According to me the best scene was when The Bloodbottler and The BFG get into a fight.
I have chosen to review this book because it is written by my favorite author. I have watched its’ movie also. It is an outstanding adaption of the book
I rate this book 5 stars out of 5.
I recommend this book to you because it is easy to read and full of adventures.

Well done Aryan. Our best friends are books and it’s pretty cool to read books. Most of us just go through books and just ignore the core things. It’s lovely to give reviews and showing interest in inside book matter and it’s characters.
Keep it up. Lot’s of good luck to you.
