Lucid Dream
One night, I went to sleep,
Hoping I would have sweet dreams,
But little did I know what was going to happen next.
Which I’ll be writing now in text!
Everything seemed to work according to my will!
I could make people float or make them stand still.
I could fly and summon characters from books,
I could even ride dragons or sit in a cosy nook.
I thought of my belongings coming to life,
Soon, they walked, talked and became alive!
I thought of pizzas falling from the sky,
It happened so and I wondered why.
I then realised that I was in a lucid dream,
Where everything was possible, just as my wish!
Then I looked at my hands and felt something weird.
Their shape was constantly changing and looked blurred.
Suddenly, a crack appeared in the ground,
And I fell through, spinning round and round.
I thought of going back to the surface but it didn’t work out.
I tried everything to find a way out
But then, a thought sprout.
I realised that I was waking up from this amazing dream.
I found myself in my bed and then screamed,
“This was my forever best dream!”
