Hey everyone, your best friend Sara here! Welcome to my ‘Places with Sara‘ section
I can’t wait to pack my bags and head out once the pandemic exits from our lives. Until then let’s read through these wonderful travel memories from kids. Let’s keep our wish lists ready!

It was a bright and sunny morning, and I was excited to be travelling with my mother to Jaipur- known as the ‘Pink city’ where my maternal grandparents, uncles-aunts and cousins live. I had not been able to sleep at night as I was enthusiastic for the trip to start.
We reached the airport and boarded the flight. Finally, we reached Jaipur, and my face was turning pink with excitement.
My uncles and cousins picked us up from the airport and during the ride back home, I was busy talking with my cousins.
When we reached home, my grandparents and aunts hugged me and my mother.
The next day we went to the City palace museum and Albert hall museum. We had lots of fun looking at artifacts, a large Egyptian mummy (which gave me nightmares later on) and old paintings.
The following day we all, decided to go to Nahargarh Fort which was nearby. We had to climb all the way up.
While we were climbing up, we heard that a black panther had been spotted a few days ago. I felt scared, but we moved on. At last, we reached and fortunately, we did not find a panther anywhere near us.
On top of the fort, we saw a fascinating panoramic view of the city. Everyone was amazed.
In the morning, after eating Dal- Bati –Churmaa (an appetizing dish); we went to Hawa Mahal, Jantar Man
My memory was itself the souvenir I got from the place.
I would recommend this city to other travellers because it has so many monuments, different types of yummy food and kind people living there.
This place will always be special to me as it holds many memories.
