I wish I were a moth
Fluttering around me was a moth
Embraced by happiness and warmth
Silly like a river
Flowing across the sky
Frail and thin in figure
I wondered how it flew so high
Weaving through a forest
Which by far was the lushest
Flew out into an open field
For which the warmth of the Sun
Acted as a shield
From all sadness and sorrow
Which would have left our poor moth feeling hollow
Fluttering around me was a moth
Embraced by happiness and warmth
Silly like a river
Flowing across the sky
Frail and thin in figure
I wondered how it flew so high
Oh, how I wish
As the moth I could be free
But as it left with a swish
It left me with glee.
