From Darkness to Spotlight – That Day

The day I go up on stage,
The crowd claps, and I go into a haze.
Those four bright eyes in the crowd
Are my parents’—teary and proud.
Every moment feels like a dream.

I step ahead, my hands held tight
Around the trophy I earned through nights.
That day would be my best day,
And the spotlight would cast a beam or ray.
I would say, “From lamplight to spotlight,”
Yes! That day, my journey would reach its height.

The day I hold up the mic,
The audience leans in, eyes alight.
I start my speech—no more butterflies,
Confidence in every word is where the beauty lies.
Grace and elegance flow within me.

That day would be the day I manifested
All my dreams—no longer contested.
Every moment feels optimistic,
Just like a painting: artistic and realistic.
Yes! That’s my journey from fumble to humble.

The day I find the purpose of my life,
The reason why I rise through strife—
When I no longer care about the world,
But live for myself, no longer curled—
A new version of me: bold and unstoppable.

That day, I would win at life,
When the nights carry no cries.
A regretless life is what I strive,
No doubts, no fear—just a long and fun drive.
Yes! That’s my journey from darkness to light.
