Cabal: Wonders of Cat

It was the year 2158 when the renowned astrophysicist Dr. Isabella Glen made contact with aliens from the Andromeda Galaxy. The aliens were invited to Earth, and the invitation was quickly accepted. To our surprise, the head of the cat planet, Cabal, came to Earth in human form. We used our super-active laser to scan his body and saw his true, terrifying form. By the way, I’m Dr. Ridhaa Hamirani, another well-known astrophysicist in a world full of geniuses.

On the cat planet as well as on Earth, we communicated with Cabal through my language translator invention. His facial expressions showed obvious surprise at our planet’s appearance. After gathering all the necessary information, Cabal offered any two of us the opportunity to visit his planet. I was one of the two selected for this unique experience and embarked on a six-month journey to the cat planet on our technically advanced spaceship, Orion V, that contained all the resources necessary for one’s survival. Nervously, we adjusted to the sight of the aliens’ faces as Isabella accompanied us. 

We discovered that the cat planet was the only planet in the Andromeda Galaxy with life, like Earth in the Milky Way. However, to my surprise, there was no source of grains, water, or even air on the cat planet. We relied on Orion V all the time to keep us alive. This raised the question of where their energy source came from, but Cabal refused to answer. Isabella expressed,” This planet is quite suspicious. I don’t believe it is a friendly planet.” 

We were given a room in the Ronte Palace near Cabal’s room. The next day, I asked Cabal,” Can we have a tour of the Cat Planet?” Isabella added to it,” This place is quite unique. We would like to explore all the places on the cat  planet.” Cabal agreed, and we set off on our exploration. Instead of trees, we encountered some different-shaped and coloured bushes or creepers that were difficult to define. We moved on and discovered a marketplace just like Earth, except the shops were high above the ground and made of metal. We navigated throughout the planet using a flying machine called the mac-O-block because the soil was not strong enough to support our weight. It sounds dangerous, right?

Further on, we came across a massive research centre, the main hub of scientific activities on the Cat Planet. The Cat Planet was three times bigger than Earth, and the research centre was around half the size of our planet. Isabella and I were amazed by its impressive scale and development. Isabella commented,” Oh my god!! This place is so big and so well developed. I don’t think we would be able to complete its tour in a day.” I simply nodded and said,” I would like to go to the robot’s section; come on, let’s go.” “No, dear, I want to see those creepers that they have developed inside the lab.” So finally, we decided to split up and meet at the gate at the end of the day.

In the robot’s section, I was astounded by the incredible inventions I encountered. One was a powerful laser gun capable of targeting and disabling even a person’s organ from approximately 300,000 kilometres. Also, a screen popped up above the gun for a long-distance shot. Another one was a watch that had the capability to create many natural disasters like tsunamis, earthquakes, and tornadoes, depending on the wearer’s mood. Then there was the bong-ing-safe pen, my favourite, which could create protective shields and produce laughing gas. The list of inventions seemed endless.

After Isabella and I completed our tour of the research centre, we stumbled upon an unnamed secret place that no one seemed to know about. I said to Isabella,” Hey, did you explore this place?” To this, she replied,” No, I did not. And also, there is no name written on it.” When we asked Cabal, he refused to answer. Curiosity got the better of us, and we decided to investigate the next day. Using my super-active laser, I checked for shields at the entrance, and we found multiple layers. Such tight security without even a single person at the entrance astonished us greatly. To break through, we used the laser gun borrowed from Cabal and successfully entered a non-electrified room.

Inside the room, we heard a familiar sound behind us. When Isabella turned on a torch, to our surprise, it was Mateo, who had mysteriously disappeared during his assignment to explore outer space. 

But the question was, What was he doing here? ” There is something suspicious in there. I discovered an energy transfer connection between Earth and this planet that was transferring energy from Earth to this planet,” he explained. I went into deep thought. Isabella read my mind and expressed,” You are right; we also felt that something was not good in here. But how come you’re here? Didn’t they see you?” He replied,” No, I am using one of Ridhaa’s previous gadgets, the invisible tracer.” I interrupted in between and exclaimed,” Is it the same one that can make anything invisible?” To it, he replied, “Yeah, the same.” Mateo had used the invisible tracer gadget to secretly enter the cat planet. 

As we ventured further, we encountered more shields until we reached the final one, but alarmed by the situation, we realised that we needed a more powerful device to break the last shield. I know that’s bad news. We were all very tense. But then suddenly Isabella gave it a thought: Why were we unable to break the shield with the laser gun? and exclaimed,” This shield might be too strong to be broken by the laser gun alone.” Suddenly, Mateo interrupted. “I entered this place with my Robox. 

If we combine both gadgets, the new gadget might become so powerful that it might break the shield.” I asked him,” But how are we going to combine these two gadgets and make it one?” Isabella interrupted,” Ridhaa, do you remember I told you about the robot that Cabal gifted me on arrival that can combine many gadgets? We can use it and break the shield.” “Yes!! It’s a great idea,” I happily said. Isabella combined Mateo’s Robox with the laser gun, and the plan proved successful.

Unexpectedly, something unknown began to occur inside the robot. Mateo hurriedly said,” Be quick; we need to get out of here; this robot is transmitting the details that something is being combined and a new gadget is being created!” 

We managed to break through the shield just in time and discovered that the cat planet was transferring energy from Earth, using the energy from our own bodies. 

This explained their superior technological advancements. Apprehensive of the situation, we disabled the energy transfer system, being the most capable scientists in our world, before escaping. “Now let’s run, or else we will be in danger,” said Isabella hurriedly. We went out, and before Cabal and his fellow aliens could come to know who took the robot, we kept the robot back, and no one could see us due to the invisibility shield. 

We came out of the research centre, and I asked Mateo, “Where will you stay now? Because Cabal does not know who you are?” He replied, “I will stay in my spaceship that has an invisibility shield.” Upon hearing this, we both sighed in relief. Then Mateo disabled the shield, and we went back to our room. 

While we were sleeping, I heard loud noises from Cabal’s room. I woke up Isabella and said softly,” Isabella, Isabella, wake up. Listen, Cabal is talking to someone about the transmission of signals from the robot.” We both heard them for a while. They were just trying hard to guess who had the robot but could not guess. We decided to leave the planet the very next day and went to sleep. 

The next day in the morning, we packed our bags and went to the research centre, where Cabal was supervising the whole matter that he discussed yesterday night. I exclaimed,” Good morning, Cabal; we had a good time on Cat Planet, and now we would like to go back to our planet.” Suddenly Cabal looked at us in suspicion and asked,” Good morning. No problem; I would not force you to stay, but I just want to ask you, Where were you yesterday?” I paused for a moment, but Isabella gained courage and said,” Good morning. We went to take a keen look at those trees, like bushes and creepers. We had never seen such figures, so we were curious.” 

Isabella gave a long description of how we spent our day, and this made Cabal more suspicious. Then finally, when we were getting on our spaceship, suddenly the combined gadget fell from my coat pocket. Cabal understood who the actual culprit was. I took the gadget and flew to the spaceship. Before he could do anything, Mateo activated the invisibility shield, and we disappeared.

Back on Earth, we immediately created a strong protective layer around our planet and monitored the cat planet for any further activity. In the following years, Earth surpassed the cat planet in scientific and technological advancements because we reclaimed our energy resources. The current year is 2181, and Isabella acknowledges,” Ridhaa and Mateo, because of you two, we have become extremely developed in the field of science and technology. Congratulations.” Mateo and I both replied together,” It’s not just us, but your contribution is equally applaudable.” We laughed together and made a pact to continue progressing in the field of science and technology.
