Adventures, Magic, and Me – My Journey Through Books
1.Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone
Books are more than just paper and ink to me — they are doors to adventures, portals to magical worlds, and blueprints for my imagination. I’m Parth Singla, 9 years old and live in Gurgaon, India. My journey through books began with simple bedtime stories, but it became magical the day I picked up Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

Platform 9¾
Suddenly, I wasn’t just Parth anymore. I was standing on Platform 9¾, riding the Hogwarts Express, casting spells, and sneaking through secret passages at night. Every page felt like I was living in another universe. Harry Potter didn’t just make me love reading — it made me feel like I belonged in the world of magic, courage, and friendship.
2.Enid Blyton’ – Famous Five and Secret Seven
After that, I discovered Enid Blyton; her books made me feel like an adventurer. The Famous Five and Secret Seven became my imaginary friends. I loved how they used their cleverness to solve mysteries, explore islands, and face danger — all without magic, just with teamwork and brains. It made me believe that kids can do great things, too.
3.Reading Inspires
Reading also inspired me to build things with my hands. After reading about secret inventions and magical tools, I made my own
- DIY mechanical music machine — a device that plays songs without any electronics!
- I even motorized the LEGO Technic Peugeot 9X8 car, a set for adults (18+), because stories made me curious about how real machines work.
- I started sharing my thoughts about books and science projects on my Instagram. I post fun videos and voiceovers explaining what I liked in a story, which character I’d want as a friend, and why other kids should try reading that book, too.
- Books should be shared — like magic spells passed from one reader to another.
4. What are the benefits of reading books?

Books have taught me to dream bigger, build smarter, and deeply feel emotions. They’ve taken me across oceans, into haunted castles, and even to outer space — all from my little desk.
Every story opens a new path for me, and I can’t wait to see where the next book takes me.
