I once saw an object,
Shiny, luxurious & round,
I forced my mind to reject,
But I couldn’t resist on what I found.
It was a piece of a jewel,
The one thing for which people duel.
Was it owned, or was it lost,
I thought to take it & make the most.
But then I realised, this has seen many people;
None of them took it, so why me;
I thought again & dropped it, it fell with a ripple;
As if I threw it in the sea.
After that I don’t know happened to it,
If I picked it, I would’ve felt guilty, that I admit.
So next time I’ll use my wit,
& to picking random items I’ll quit.
