9 year old Aashirya from Gurugram is fond of reading, writing and Santa Claus! She wrote about her wishes for Christmas in this lovely verse!
A Day with Santa
I do not want gifts this Christmas
But I want to invite Santa home this year.
And we will have a fun day
Singing cheerful carols all the way!
I will bake a fruit cake for him
And we will have cherry ice- cream.
We will take a nice walk in the park
And catch fireflies out in the dark.
We’ll play a game of tic-tac-toe,
Then watch the film Pinocchio.
A cup of chocolate will end our day
And I’ll wish Santa never goes away!
