It’s that colourful, happy time of the year again—Easter! You’ve probably seen chocolate eggs, fluffy bunnies, and pretty spring flowers all around.

What is Easter? The True Story Behind the Celebration

Easter is one of the most important festivals celebrated by Christians across the world. It celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ, which means that after dying, Jesus came back to life. Easter is celebrated after Good Friday. Easter is all about new beginnings, hope and love.
A long, long time ago, there was a man named Jesus. He was like a super kind teacher who told everyone to love each other and be good. Lots of people loved him because he did amazing things and helped everyone.
But some people didn’t like Jesus. They thought he was causing trouble, even though he wasn’t. So, they did a very sad thing. They hurt him and then put him on a big wooden cross. It was called Good Friday, and it was a very sad day for his friends.
After Jesus died, his friends were very, very sad. They took his body and put it in a cave that had a big stone rolled in front of it to close it up, like a secret hiding place.
Now, here comes the most amazing part!
3 days later, on a Sunday morning, some of Jesus’ friends, some ladies, went to visit his tomb. But guess what? The big stone was rolled away! The cave was open, and Jesus’ body wasn’t there!
Suddenly, they saw angels! The angels told them something incredible: Jesus wasn’t dead anymore! He had come back to life! This is called the Resurrection, and it’s the super happy part of the Easter story.
Creating Meaningful Easter Moments

The true meaning of Easter goes beyond easter eggs and chocolate bunnies. It’s about connecting with the deeper significance of the holiday and creating lasting memories with loved ones. Here are several ways to make Easter more meaningful:
