When I Am Old I Poem By Nyra

When I Am Old

I am an old woman, my hair is so white,
Surrounded by children, so intelligent and bright.
I love watching the news,
But sometimes when I am lonely, I feel blue.
I lie down on the bed and rest,
Do all care for me because I am the best?
I like to eat really soft food,
But that does not lift my mood.
Every morning I go for a walk,
Breathe in the fresh air and talk.
I exercise every day,
Sometimes people don’t understand what I say.
I don’t have responsibilities, so I am free,
However, I still get scared from a bee.
I have now lived a happy life,
Being a grandmother, mother and a responsible wife.
