Vikram and the Vetal Book review by Ananya S
Title: The Tricky Tales of Vikram and the Vetal.
Retold by: Deepa Agarwal
Publisher: Scholastic
While reading books, I start imagining the characters in the story. The story runs in my mind like a movie.
When I saw the cover page it seemed ordinary but it was interesting.
I had only heard about Vikram and the Vetal stories but never read them before. So when my mom suggested this book at a book fair at our school campus, I bought this book.
The lead character in the story is King Vikramaditya, who was famous for his valour, generosity and devotion to justice. The book tells his story along with the spirit called Vetal who tells him magical tales of kings, queens and magical lands. In the end, he asks a question to the King.
The central idea of this story is to never lose hope and try until you succeed.
My favourite part of the story is the question asked by vetal after each story to Vikramaditya.
This book is best for all age group but I prefer it is best for 10+ years.
My ratings for the book is ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐5 star rating because the stories are nice and the ending is also good

*On a scale of 1-5, 5 being the highest
