The Kind Superheroes

One sunny morning, Lily and Lotus were feeling bored as there was nothing to play with ! They had thought that today would be a wonderful day to spend time with their mom, dad, brother, and sister, or all of them. But everyone was busy with work. Mom was cleaning the house, Dad was in a meeting with his boss, and their older sister and brother were focused on their studies as they had upcoming exams. So, Lily and Lotus decided to play Superheroes!

But there was a problem! Who would they play with?

They thought for a while, wondering what to do.

Then Lily said, “We can’t help people, but we can make people happy!” Lotus agreed with her and said, “The mission is to make people happy—starts now!” Lily told their mom to sit on the couch and cover her eyes for an extreme surprise!

While their mom had her eyes covered, Lotus brought her a glass of water. Then Lily said, “Open your eyes, Mom.” When she opened her eyes, she took the glass from Lotus’s hand, set it aside, and gave a tight hug to Lily and Lotus. After drinking the water, she said, “Thank you!”

Next, they placed a file on the desk and wrote a message: “Dad, you work very hard, so we tried to make your work a bit easier by giving you this file that you forgot in the drawing room.” When Dad saw the file and read the message, a big smile appeared on his face, which made Lotus and Lily happy too! Then, they went to their older brother and sister, gave them a hug, and said, “Enough studying! Now relax your mind by playing with us!” Their faces lit up, and they replied with a big “Yes!”

Now it’s your turn to cheer up your family!
