Today I share a wonderful book review by 10 year old Anwesha Nag from Bangalore.

Anwesha studies in 5th grade at The Samhita Academy and loves reading books, travelling and art. She has her own travel journal on the places she visits.
She completely loved the Anthony Horowitz books and was recommended by her favourite library, Kahani Box.

Book- The Diamond Brothers Series
Author- Anthony Horowitz
Anthony Horowitz has written many books out of which I liked the Diamond Brothers series.
This is about a detective named Tim and his kid brother Nick. But unfortunately Tim is the world’s worst private detective and cannot solve a case without his quick thinking brother Nick. These brothers have gone through many dangerous cases and have even almost lost their lives in some. Sometimes they have been tied to the train track, shot with a gun,
poisoned and much more.
But how did they escape? Danger is lurking everywhere they go. Are the Diamond brothers’ days numbered?
My most favourite book in the Diamond Brothers series was The French Confection. Tim and Nick Diamond win a trip to Paris, through a yoghurt company. But things did not turn out as they expected. As soon as they arrived, a man was crushed under the train. Then they were chased by 2 french terrorists. There is a nasty smell in the air that is not cheese. If they
are not careful their dream could turn into a nightmare. Will they last long?
The lead character in this series is Nick. He is the most intelligent character in the book. My favourite part of the book is when the suspense ends and Nick finds out who the criminal is.
The writing style of the book is easy for children to understand and the illustrations in the book are simple. This book is best suitable for children in the age group of 8 to 10.
I would like to give this series a 5 out of 5 rating*.
