The day started like a normal one. I woke up and got ready for school.  It was the day I was waiting for. It was my school trip! I missed the school bus and my father rode me to school. I didn’t want to be late that day. I was excited as the teacher told us to form a line. But suddenly, my teacher told me my mother had accidentally filled the form of some Ideathon instead of school trip consent form. I was shocked and about to cry as I walked back home. I wished I had a time machine so that I could time travel and correct my mom’s mistake.

Just then a UFO (believe me!!) passed me and dropped something peculiar. I took a closer look at it. It was broken. There was a toolbox beside it. I was not a great mechanic, but still I tried to fix it, and it got fixed! There was a small screen, and on it was written Time Machine. I could’ve burst with happiness.

I was so curious that I forgot about the form. I found an instruction manual and travelled 100 years into the future. I found out that people would build a machine that could make them fly without a plane, and people would discover a planet like Earth and shift there, as Earth would be fully destroyed.

Then I travelled 2000 years back and touched a dinosaur! Its texture was smooth. Then, at last, I time travelled to the day my mother filled the form and corrected it. Then I reached the day of the trip and enjoyed it.

I’m not telling this to anybody, as no one will believe me.
