Sorry seems to be the hardest word
Do we only care for those who are gone?
The ones who are with us,
Often, are the ones at whom we taunt,
Doesn’t that haunt?
What if they leave,
What about their belief
Will you feel relief?
This is the question I have,
It’s not in our textbooks
And it’s not as easy as it looks.
Why does ego get so big?
This bitter truth you have to swig.
By behaving aloof
Will you feel relief?
The answer is no.
So, let’s start caring for those who we own,
It’s time to stop treating them like they are on loan.
Our people are the gifts of the creator,
Whose power is way greater
Than we know.
He has given us all the rights,
