Science fest : My experience 

I participated in Festa Della Scienza 2022, a science fest organized by PB Academy- Kolkata. It took place on 25th and 26th of November. There were three categories

I was in category C and I represented my school, South City International in BIO BOSS event. We were given two topics i.e. Ecosystem and Cellular Biology and we chose to go for cellular biology and make a DNA model.

Deoxyribonucleic acid is a polymer composed of two polynucleotide chains that coil around each other to form a double helix. The polymer carries genetic instructions for the development, functioning, growth and reproduction of all known organisms and many viruses. DNA and ribonucleic acid are nucleic acids.

We even talked about few applications of DNA like Gene Therapy and DNA fingerprinting (used to catch criminals)

All our hard work came to a fruition when a teacher of PB academy announced that we had won second runners up in that event.

I feel blessed to get an opportunity like this. I would like to thank my school and teachers who gave me this golden opportunity to be a part of Festa Della Scienza.
