Resilience : Lessons from a flower 

Just like the flower bloomed,

I bloomed once too.

Just like the flower was plucked,

I was plucked once too.

Just like the flower was abandoned,

I was once too.

But just like a new bud,

I tried again.

My newfound hope was my ray of sunshine.

And I bloomed once again.
