Who is your favourite literary character? 9-year-old Yashnashree from Bangalore loves Hedwig, the beloved owl from Harry Potter.
Hedwig was the loyal companion, messenger and snowy owl pet of Harry Potter. Harry Potter had Hedwig by his side for many of the adventures. This cuddly soft feather ball was not only loyal but also very loveable.
Hedwig was Harry’s 11th birthday gift from Rubeus Hagrid and it was very special because it was his first-ever birthday gift. The Dursley’s never celebrated his birthdays.
Throughout his time at Hogwarts, Hedwig delivered mang important messages for Harry.
