Posy was a young little kitten who loved to cause mischief around the house. She enjoyed causing trouble with her brothers, her owner, Mrs Rosy and would often tip her saucer of milk over.
One day, Mrs Rosy came back after a long day of work to find Posy with her ginger and black fur ball of a coat dashing around the house, breaking all of her favourite pots and decorations. Mrs Rosy was infuriated and picked up Posy by her neck and said with an annoyed tone, “A lady does not act this sloppy. What a naughty kitten you are. Go sit in the corner.” Posy then ran to the corner in a hurry with a mix of fear. Mrs Rosy suddenly felt a wave of guilt. The young kitten was bound to ruthless amounts of energy as she was young.
Mrs Rosy then went to the kitchen to prepare a fresh portion of fish and kibble, which was favourite .While Rosy prepared the fish, the delicious smell wafted through the house, reaching Posy’s nose as she sat in the corner. “Oh, oh, Mrs Rosy must be preparing my favourite fish and kibble for my brothers to spite me!” Posy thought sadly. She felt very guilty for her naughtiness and sat at the corner in her melancholy. Rosy placed dinner in the kitten’s bowl and watched Posy’s brother eat happily, but no sight of Posy.
She found Posy still in the corner and sighed exasperately as she lifted Posy in her arms and fed her dinner. Posy’s mood slowly improved as she slowly dozed off after eating her hearty dinner.
