Never Again : Fleeting Time
The laughter of childhood, so wild and free,
Days of no worries, just climbing a tree.
The warmth of a mother’s soft lullaby,
Drifting to dreams under a moonlit sky.
Gone like the wind, never again,
A moment once lived, won’t come back the same.
The echoes of school bells, ringing so loud,
Running through hallways, lost in a crowd.
The thrill of a friendship, a note passed in class,
The promise of “forever” but time moves too fast.
Once it has faded, never again,
A chapter once turned won’t open the same.
The golden sunsets of teenage delight,
Dancing in the rain, hearts feeling light.
The first taste of love, a trembling sigh,
The fear of goodbyes, yet learning to fly.
Moments like whispers, never again,
If lost in the rush, they don’t feel the same.
The hands of the clock will never rewind,
The past is a shadow we struggle to find.
So live in the now, let joy flood your soul,
For time never pauses, nor waits to console.
Blink, and it’s over, never again,
Love what you have before it’s just pain.
For one day, you’ll stand, looking back at it all,
And wonder how swiftly life answered time’s call.
Time moves fast, like a fleeting train,
Once it is gone, never again.
