My Favourite Place
My World, My Cozy Bedroom
What is my favourite place?
A country – No! A city – No! A restaurant – No! A relative’s house – No! Did you guess what my favourite place is? Yes, it is my cozy bedroom. A place where I spend several hours doing what I enjoy most. It is that one place in the world which I call my own and where I have created the most memorable moments with friends and family members.
My Royal World – Bedroom
When you enter my bedroom, you feel you have entered a royal world. One entire wall has an image of a beautiful castle with sprawling meadows and happiness all around. It literally makes me feel like I am a little Prince, just the way my parents make me feel.
Books
One corner of the room has a prized collection of books collected over the years, with some famous names like Enid Blyton, Charles Dickens, Ruskin Bond, Roald Dahl, to name a few. This treasured library provides me with immense knowledge and moral values such as honesty and bravery.
Bed
The other side of my room has my cozy bed – a place where I doze off for hours and then gently drift into my world of fantasies. This bed has been my friend for years, and has seen me grow up from a little toddler to an eight year old boy now. Some days my bed represents The Avengers while on other days when I am not feeling like a super hero – it changes to a cat and mouse chase of Tom and Jerry. The sheets on my bed change with the frame of my mind.
My Things

My room is filled with laughter, joy and positive feelings. In another corner lie my revolving chair, toy collection and musical instruments. When I sit on the revolving chair and play the guitar, I float into the world of music played by the strings. It frees me of all my worries and brings a sense of calmness in my life. One of the most paramount things in my room is my large cupboard. It houses all my secret stuff, clothes and other prized things. Another favourite part of my room is a small light globe on my side table. When I look at it, I imagine having roamed the whole world just with a spin of the globe. That globe shows the countries, lakes, rivers, oceans, seas, cities and many more.
Photoframes
My room is positioned in a very interesting corner of the house which enables me to keep an eye on all my friends and thus enables me to track their movements on fun days. Finally, there is my most favourite part of the room, which contains all the beautiful memories in the form of photo frames and pictures that have been collected over the years. Few with me without any teeth, some in my parents’ lap while others with friends and family members. Over the years this collection has only grown capturing beautiful moments in my life thus making my room the most favourite and special place in the world.
