Lucy, Rahul And The Magic Witch Book

Lucy and Rahul were very good friends. They liked to play together. Sometimes Lucy went to Rahul’s house and sometimes Rahul went to Lucy’s house.

One day they found an old witch book. The book was dusty and very old. They started reading it together. Suddenly the book began to glow green. Lucy and Rahul were surprised. They wondered why the book was glowing. Then three witches came out of the book in a cloud of purple smoke. Lucy and Rahul got very scared. The witches had black hats and flew on broomsticks. They started chasing Lucy and Rahul around the room. Lucy and Rahul ran as fast as they could. They ran home and told their parents what had happened. Their parents did not believe them. They said witches were not real. Lucy and Rahul felt sad because they knew the witches were real.

That night they heard a strange noise. Lucy felt scared and covered herself with her blanket. Rahul also felt scared and hid under his blanket. The next morning they met and talked about the strange noise. They made a plan. At night they would stay awake and pretend to sleep. They wanted to see who was making the noise.

That night they did not sleep. They kept their eyes open a little. After some time they saw the witches again. The witches were making a magic potion in a big pot. The potion was glowing in many colors. The witches were mixing the potion and saying magic words. Suddenly one witch sneezed. A drop fell into the potion. Then there was a small bang. Everybody in the house woke up and came running.

The witches quickly did some magic and disappeared. Nobody could see them. But the glowing potion was still on the table. Everybody looked at it. They did not know where it came from. Then the potion started bubbling. Glowing words appeared in the air. The words said that ‘witches are real’. Now the parents believed Lucy and Rahul. Lucy and Rahul were very happy. The witches went back into the magic book. Lucy and Rahul kept the book safely in a cupboard.

They still look at the book sometimes and think about their magical adventure.
