So you probably already read the first Harry Potter book by JK Rowling. How is the second one? Here is my review.
The story starts with the Dursleys having a guest and Harry told to make no noise in his room. Dobby drops in, warns him not to return back to Hogwarts. He lands Harry in trouble. As a result, the Dursleys
Harry then goes to the ‘burrow’ (Ron’s family house) and stays there for the rest of his holidays. Harry and Ron reach
The Chamber of Secrets gets opened and a mystery follows on who has done it. There is a secret diary involved and a gigantic reptile – can Harry and his friends escape? Read the book to find out!
My favorite character is Hermione as she is very smart and loves books like me. She is a very helpful person. She really cares about not getting expelled. She also fights for elf justice; this shows that she hates injustice. She is an ideal person in my life.
The book was amazing, it was a very nice plot. But I felt that there could be a twist or mystery.
This book had a lot of moral messages like help your friends, believe in yourself, don’t judge others without knowing the whole story.
“Which makes you very different from Tom Riddle. It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.” The above line was told by Dumbledore to Harry. The lines convey us that character is not defined by abilities but by choices.
This book was recommended to me by my friend. And I too will recommend this book to my friends and family. 5 stars! Best for ages 8+
