Go On and Wear It: Harappan Necklace Art & Craft Activity | By Kriti
Homework?!! Go on and wear it
Indus valley civilization ain’t no fun, you might say. BUT , what if I said you could make it fun?! All it takes is a single homework assignment!.
Now, now… hear me out before clicking your tongue and shaking your head in disbelief, for I speak with the voice of experience.
We got a UOI homework yesterday ( so what’s new?) . I opened the app with a lot of “anticipation” but no “apprehension”, and much to my delight the homework said , “Recreate jewellery worn by Harappans”.
“Yippeeeee”, I exclaimed and did a little jig before raiding my sister’s treasure trove of beautiful beads(sorry sis, but I am not sorry!!!). To choose the best of the best was NOT an easy task, but , when I put my mind to something, it gets fun.

Soon, I strung the beads together to make the most beautiful, authentic designer necklace you have ever seen. I even wore it and clicked a picture. Soooo , is that the end of the story?
Nah, not for creative souls like me!
What do you do with paper bags made in art class? You decorate it and put your logo- “Kriti’s Krafts- Custom jewellery handmade with love”.
Voila! Your homework is complete and you are happy. Cute bags, authentic kraft, and a happy me. What could go wrong, dear readers, when you finish your homework and wear it for the world to see!
