DIY rakhi - The handmade Raksha Bandhan gift
It was raksha bandhan. It is an Indian festival celebrated in the month of August. Emily was sad because she didn’t have money to buy a rakhi.
Emily was a craft lover, so she decided to make a rakhi on her own. Then she brought her hot glue gun, pom poms , 3D pen , colour paper , some ribbon and a pair of scissors. She was excited and as well as nervous that her brother wouldn’t like it because her brother never liked her work.
After a couple of days it was raksha bandhan and Emily was wearing her best top and pants. Her brother was surprised and flabbergasted to see the hard work and the effort his little sister put in to make that rakhi.

He gifted her many art supplies which looked like it would last many years.
Emily understood that her brother loves her very much. She decided to be confident and hard working. Her mom and dad were happy to see their daughter doing a lot of hard work and they wished her all the best for her life and keep up the good work! Eventually, she even became the state’s famous artist!
