COMMUNICATION IS CONNECTION

Communication is connection.

Not communicating is destruction.

As social media became our built-up walls,

Socializing was taken over by texts and calls.

Parents and children all sat on their phones.

Sitting and talking together, no more was known to them.

They sat close to each other, but the distance drew them farther apart.

The silence between them felt louder and denser than the dark.

Everyone became an introvert, forgetting how to talk.

Meeting new people felt like an anxious, lonely walk.

They forgot that communicating makes connections deeper.

It makes finding solutions easier.

Instead, they sat there alone and put on their headphones.

Losing all the connections with the world and trying to find one on the phone.
