Chelsie and the Lost Pyramid

Chapter 1 – Introduction

Chelsie And The Lost Pyramid I Story By Aarav, Bangalore

There once was an evil king near the city of Kaustaman who wanted to rule all the worlds and eliminate anyone who performed good deeds. He and his advisors built a magnificent sword of infinite doom to wreak havoc across the realms. The evil king himself cast a spell on the sword, so that it would activate only if he said the word “activate”, and similarly, would deactivate only if he uttered the word “deactivate.”

He soon activated the sword and began his conquest, burning many worlds. Luckily, a few wealthy individuals in some villages knew all about the evil king’s plot and hatched a plan to destroy the sword, as they understood its composition and how it was made. They knew that a rare and incredibly hard rock called Imlos could destroy the sword when thrown at its center.

While the king was busy conquering, the villagers secretly threw a chunk of Imlos at the middle of the sword—and what do you know? The plan worked! They couldn’t rely on making the king say “deactivate”, as he never would. Hence, the Imlos method!

After destroying the sword, the villagers also defeated the evil king and built a pyramid over both his body and the sword. They sealed the door to the pyramid with a powerful spell that no one could unlock. From that moment on, the people in the villages lived in peace.

However, someone in the city of Kaustaman knew about this historical event—and not only wanted to activate the sword but also bring the evil king back to life.

And this set off Chelsie’s adventures all over again!

Chapter 2: Chelsie’s Algebra Test

Chelsie’s Algebra Test is Part 2, continuation of the story Chelsie and the lost Pyramid by Aarav.

Chelsie Dreams of an Adventure

Chelsie’s Algebra Test I Part 2 Story By Aarav, Bangalore

Chelsie’s algebra test was a total bore to him. He wished that the old man wearing golden clothes with a goatee would invite him on a quest. However, Chelsie knew that only time would tell when the old man would come.

Meanwhile, he had to take the test.

The Test Begins

Unfortunately, Chelsie hadn’t studied at all or done anything else but wait. The old man never came. So, Chelsie actually had to take the test. Once he woke up, he ran to school to take it. The teacher said, “All the best to everyone. Do well!”

Chelsie thought to himself that the test would be a piece of cake. But it wasn’t.

A Tricky Question

One of the questions on the test was:

“What is the answer to 6p/5 when p = 5?”

Chelsie stared at it. He didn’t know what to do. He had no idea how to solve it!

Chelsie wasn’t able to answer all the questions because he neither used his brain nor prepared for the test.

A Big Fat Zero

Once he submitted his answers, he got a big fat zero. The teacher was furious and said, “How dare you submit this silly paper to me?” She then sent him out of the classroom for the rest of the day.

Chapter 3 : Planning The Quest

Chelsie And The Lost Pyramid I Story By Aarav, Bangalore

After that horrible algebra test, Chelsie wanted the old man to come immediately, but he knew he had to wait. So, he switched off the lights and hit the bed. Finally, a portal came spiraling into his room. Chelsie woke up because of the portal’s noise. He was so happy that he swiftly jumped into the portal.

Once inside Kaustaman City, the old man said, “Chelsie, you are wanted by the king!” Chelsie got excited and went to the king. The king said that a boy named Asmato was plotting to bring the evil king back to life along with his sword.

Chelsie said, “Ok! But where should I go?”

The king replied that he should travel across the Sahara Desert. Chelsie assumed he needed to return to his own world again, so he confusedly asked, “Should I go back to my world and travel across the Sahara?”

Hidden map of the pyramid

The king replied, “NO! Not your world. We have a different Sahara Desert in this world. And remember, Asmato has the hidden map of the pyramid. The pyramid can be unlocked with a lever. Asmato is going to pull it to activate the pyramid. It is your job to make sure he doesn’t open the lost pyramid.”

After Chelsie heard this, he asked for the map of the Sahara Desert and was about to leave, when the king stopped him, saying, “You have a partner for the journey. You can’t do this alone.”

Chelsie needed a good and helpful partner for the journey. He then saw his partner bizarrely walking towards him.

The man said to Chelsie, “Hey, I’m Stan. What’s yours?”

Chelsie stammered, “I-I am… Che-lsie.”

The king almost shouted, “Come on, you two! Go quickly and stop Asmato! Go! Go!”

Both of them then immediately left and set off on their mission.

Chapter 4 : Asmato’s Plan

Asmato knew that two people from Kaustaman were coming after him, so he needed a defensive strategy to ensure he could unlock the pyramid. Without hesitation, he declared aloud, “Oh evil king, I will free you, and we will conquer worlds together. No One Will Stop Us! Not even those two.”

Now, all he needed to do was find the lever and free the evil king before Chelsie and Stan could stop him.

Chapter 5 – A Journey to the Sahara

Chelsie And The Lost Pyramid I Story By Aarav, Bangalore

Chelsie and Stan were talking to each other about their lives as they approached the Sahara Desert.

To get there, they had to cross three rivers, four mountain ranges, and one vast plateau.

Finally, after their long journey, they reached the Sahara and saw Asmato standing near a lever.

Chapter 6 : Summoning of the Evil King

Stan anxiously said, “Oh no, Chelsie! Asmato is near the lever — we have to stop him now!”

Meanwhile Asmato was struggling to push the lever because it was too tight, but then he felt happy when Chelsie tried to aim his sword at Asmato but it hit the lever and now the pyramid got activated.

Gleefully, Asmato exclaimed, “Thank you, dear boy, for activating this. Now it’s time for me to free the evil king!”

He then rushed into the pyramid to summon the king.

“What  is wrong with you! The king said you’re a great person who can handle these situations easily, but I just don’t see it,” said Stan in disappointment.

Chelsie replied, “I know I may have made some mistakes in my life, but now is not the time to talk about them. We have to focus on stopping Asmato, or else everything will be lost.”

Stan calmed down and agreed. “You’re right! Let’s go stop Asmato.”

Meanwhile, inside the pyramid, Asmato searched frantically. “Where could this tomb be?” he muttered.

After many tense minutes of searching, he finally found the tomb and opened his spell book. With a wicked smile, he recited the ancient spell.

By the time Chelsie and Stan reached the tomb, they saw the evil king standing tall and alive.

The king turned to Asmato and said, “Well done, Asmato. You are now my royal advisor. What do you say we conquer worlds together?”

Asmato, with tears of joy, replied, “Thank you, my dear king! Thank you! Let’s start conquering!”

Chelsie and Stan cried out in unison, “NO! You will never win! We will stop you two!”

The king scoffed. “Oh, is it you ? How about enjoying the show instead of trying to stop us?”

“Never!” shouted Chelsie.

“Very well,” said Asmato.

The evil king raised his sword and blocked the boys’ only way out.

An angry Stan yelled, “Well, what should we do now?!”

Sadly, Chelsie replied, “I Don’t Know! I’ve been messing everything up… a-and…”
He began to cry, thinking he was not worthy of being the ‘chosen one.’

Stan felt bad for Chelsie and tried to cheer him up. “You’ve done so many good things since I met you. Come on now.”

Chelsie felt better and said with renewed confidence, “Okay! I believe I can do this, no matter what.”

Suddenly, he had an idea. “Let’s push through the rocks together!”

And so, they did — and escaped successfully!

A beaming Stan said, “Come, let’s fight the evil king.”

Chapter 7 : The Big Fight

As the evil king began devouring worlds, Asmato spotted the two boys approaching. A nervous Asmato muttered,
“Uh, sire, we have company.”

The evil king replied with a smirk, “I would like to challenge them to a fight — one that I will easily win.”

“Very well, sire,” said Asmato.

As Chelsie and Stan advanced toward the evil king, the wicked monarch roared, “Go on, you fools! You can never defeat me! HAHAHA!!!”

At that moment, Chelsie whispered something to Stan, who nodded silently. The duo then split up and darted in different directions.

The evil king, now confused, shouted angrily, “Where are these two going?!”

Suddenly, Stan appeared in front of him, dancing mockingly. “Come on, evil king, ya can’t get me!” he teased.

Furious, Asmato shouted, “I’ll get him, sire!”

“Find the other one!” the king commanded as he stormed off to look for Chelsie.

Meanwhile, Chelsie discovered a mystical rock called Imols. As the evil king raised his sword to strike, Chelsie hurled the rock at the center of the weapon.

In a flash, the sword shattered completely!

Chelsie had only meant to weaken the sword — but instead, it was destroyed entirely.

Back near the pyramid entrance, Asmato tried to flee, but Stan stabbed him just in time.

“You will pay for this!” Asmato barked, trying to stay conscious.

Chelsie then struck Asmato again, knocking him out cold.

With the battle over, Chelsie and Stan shook hands and said in unison,
“You are the best partner I’ve ever had!”

Together, they returned to Kaustaman and placed Asmato in prison.

Chapter 8 – Happy Times!

After Asmato was locked away in the Kaustaman prison, the king congratulated Chelsie and Stan.

“I thought this partnership wouldn’t be so great,” he said with a smile, “but I’ve been proved wrong. Well done!”

Stan turned to Chelsie and said, “I want to see your home, but I can’t come—I still have a lot of training to do. Sorry!”

The king then reminded Chelsie that he, too, had much training ahead and couldn’t stay with his aunt and uncle for long.

He handed Chelsie a wooden key. “This will open the portal from your home,” the king explained. “When a light shines on it, you must return to Kaustaman City.”

Amidst loud cheers and celebration, Chelsie activated the portal and stepped through.

Moments later, he found himself back in his bedroom, falling asleep peacefully…

But suddenly, a dark, chilling voice echoed through the air:

“Thank you! You have opened the gateway to destruction! HAHAHAHA!”

  2. Imagination running wild, interest sustained right through ,one can see a lot of promise in the young writer. One test of a good short story is it should arouse curiosity in the reader- what next ,what is going to happen now etc etc. This story does and one can now hardly wait for the continuation.
