It was a beautiful day.

Best friends Mira and Marjory were playing volleyball on the beach. Suddenly, they saw a shining spot in the water.

Intrigued, they went closer to realize that it was a giant sparkling egg with a color they had never seen before. They couldn’t believe that they were actually seeing a phoenix egg from the legend. Marjory had an idea. What if they incubated the egg and waited for it to hatch?

Mira agreed, so they took back the egg to their treehouse and built an incubator. To their surprise, the egg hatched after just 7 days and 7 hours! The baby phoenix was so charming that they didn’t realize it had gold eyes. The friends felt surreal, so they decided to keep the phoenix as a pet.

Finally, the phoenix was fully grown and they could ride it!

What fun it was!
