Shalini is a voracious reader. She started writing small poems and stories at the age of ten. Last year, she bagged the first position in national-level poetry competition by The Indian Express under the 6 to 12 age group. She loves nature and always tries to protect it. She is also a true patriot. She is a brilliant student and has achieved many awards in singing, painting and debates. She is dreams to be a biologist as well as a writer.
