Using art to express | Art for kids, art by kids
Hey everyone, your friend Sara here! Welcome to my colourful ‘Art with Sara’ section for kids.
Here I publish the writings of young artists who not only share their beautiful work, but also passionately ‘express’ art.
Aarav is a 9 year old boy who loves art. Just give him a paper and see his magic. His parents are super proud of him. Aarav is in 4th grade and lives in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, USA.

I came up with my recent artwork because I wanted to make a gift for my teacher. My teacher likes Cardinals, so I decided to make one.
I was confused on how to draw my cardinal, but I finally picked a design and I started drawing it.
I feel like it shows what it’s like to have no friends or anyone to look after you.
What I loved most about it was that even though the cardinal was alone, it was still feeling happy.
When I was working on it, I was excited about the way it would turn out. After completion, I was proud of myself at how good I had made my painting.

I have always enjoyed art! It is a good way to let out what you are feeling.
