A Trip To Mumbai

What a hurry to Mumbai! It was already 8 in the morning and my bag was still  not packed. I was feeling so miserable because I had a flight at 12noon.My sister was hurrying me to pack.

My mom packed our breakfast so that extra time does not get wasted. My dad was trying to call up our driver, who had no plans of dropping by. We somehow  managed to leave on time, and reached the airport. There were only a few  minutes before the security check closed and we rushed across the airport. As we sat on our seats, I felt so tired and just wanted to sleep.

It was beautiful as we saw the sun setting before our eyes. We had reached Mumbai, and I was feeling extremely happy. We went to our hotel and rested that night. The next day was horrible! All my mom and sister wanted to do was go shopping, shopping and shopping. Dad and I were dragged around the
Chor Bazaar. All we had to do was stare at each other and dad had to pay out some money, not much, as my mom was a bargaining expert.

Another day we went to Juhu Beach and chilled for a bit. My sister and dad  went in the ocean and I made a castle at that time. It was so much fun, and later we ate Vada-Pav’s and other street foods!

The day we had to leave was miserable, as none of us wanted to leave. But we enjoyed ourselves a lot!

  1. This story about an **8-year-old from Kolkata taking a trip to Mumbai** is super cute and gives a fun kid’s perspective on travel, new places, and all the little surprises along the way. It’s the kind of read that makes you smile thinking about adventure through a child’s eyes, just like the little thrills some get from kolkata ff.
