A rainy day at the seashore

An army of grey clouds marched across the sky and raindrops began to pour down. There I stood on the beach when it suddenly began raining, gently at first, then steadily. Trees were dancing to the rhythm of the rain. People were hurrying by, sheltering themselves with umbrellas. The day began sunny, but the weather soon changed.

As the rain fell, it mixed with the salty tears of the ocean, a perfect harmony of sky and sea.    Raindrops created a tranquil melody on the sands and sounded like a lullaby. The once drizzle turned to a heavy rain, the sky darkening further. The wind picked up and the angry waves lashed against the shore. Looking at the change, I rushed towards the exit, the clouds thickening and descending. I managed to get out of the beach, and was watching the rain at the beach from a safe distance in a closed area. All of a sudden, the thunder roared like a hungry lion while the lightning rippled through the sky. The raging storm was causing everyone to run around looking for shelter while the lifeguard swiftly got everyone to move away from the seashore due to the perilous rain.

Gradually, the rain started to lighten and the clouds began to break apart, revealing glimpses of the blue sky. The air was cool and fresh, the earthy smell of rain still lingering. By evening the sky is mostly clear and the world fresh and vibrant.
