Summary
When Roald Dahl was 9 years old he was sent to a terrible boarding school (Not all boarding schools are bad) the name of the boarding school was St. Patricks he always wanted to go home, he was homesick!
He said homesickness was as bad as sea sickness. He was always plotting a new stunt to get him out of school. One day he remembered that his older sister had appendicitis (a horrible deadly disease) and he remembered that she was in a really bad condition.
So he decided that he would fake that he had appendicitis and would get sent home.
After breakfast the next morning he went to the school nurse and he knocked at the door in the office after some time a big bellowing voice came Come In ! Roald came in and the nurse said Boy Why Are You Here ! Roald said I have pain in my stomach .
The nurse was shocked Boy! Are you sure you don’t have appendicitis? Roald replied I think I have appendicitis. He was sent home where his mother got a doctor even till this time of the story nobody knows that Roald is faking it but the doctor realized the truth.
He helped Roald get back to school and did not tell anybody.
