Founder & CEO, Bookosmia
Co- Founder – Not that Different, Apricity

If you’ve ever met Nidhi Mishra, you know she’s a storyteller at heart. After 10 years in the corporate banking world, including a senior leadership role at HSBC, Nidhi chose to follow her true calling — creating a space where every child’s voice matters. That dream became Bookosmia in 2017, a platform whose name means “the smell of books” and whose mission is to publish stories, poems, and artwork by kids, for kids.
Armed with a Mathematics (Hons) degree from Lady Shri Ram College and an MBA from IIM Lucknow, Nidhi blends sharp business acumen with a passion for creativity. Today, Bookosmia has grown into a global community of young creators from over 150+ locations worldwide.
Beyond publishing, Nidhi is a champion for neurodiversity and inclusion. She co-founded the Not That Different movement, which celebrates differences and encourages empathy from childhood. Her work has been recognized on prestigious platforms, including the Stanford Neurodiversity Program and BBC Worldwide.
When she isn’t busy mentoring young writers or collaborating with educators, Nidhi co-hosts the podcast Traveling Time with Books, diving into history through the lens of literature. Her guiding belief is simple yet powerful: Every child has a story worth telling — and the world needs to hear it.
