Writing My First Story

It was a rainy Sunday night. I love reading during the rain, but I didn’t have any storybooks or novels to read. I remembered that I had a mobile phone and the internet, so I thought, Why not read books online? Can I read books online? I wondered. I could read whatever I wanted, so I went to check out e-books, stories, novels etc. I found a story about rain. It was very interesting, and what made it even better was how perfectly it matched my surroundings outside, it was raining, and I was reading a story about rain.

It was really fun and exciting, but I was surprised to learn that the author of the story was a young girl about my age. I thought, If she can create her own story, why can’t I? After reading the story, I decided to create my own and publish it on the Bookosmia site. This is my very first story and you are reading it right now.

Moral of the story: How long will you keep reading other people’s stories? Create your own! It doesn’t matter how your writing, English, or grammar is you just have to listen to your heart. Start writing your own story today.
