Winter Poems Collection – By Pranav Raj
WHEN THE FOG COMES
In the morning the fog comes,
With cold and smoke it comes,
It comes silently, then rest,
Started covering the house, building and nest.
We found difficulties in looking out,
Even we wore glasses, Even if the frame is stout,
It comes but does not go quickly, it is earnest,
It is always there to provide us with coldness.
You can’t scold it, you can’t even hurt it,
Buildings, houses or even nests, he can hide or eat,
But children love the fog,
As if they make trouble no one can see them
In the cold fog.

THE WINTER’S CAKE

Winter has arrived at our doorstep,
We were excited when it was far few step,
Children were running on the lane,
They were happy, running in the lane.
Children were seen on the road,
Walking, dancing, jumping without any load,
They had worn sweaters, cap and gloves in hand,
Adults too, rocking with the band.
Don’t wait for time, don’t run much for money,
Go and steal honey,
O children, O adults, throw your misery into the lake,
Enjoy the winters and eat cake.
Note by the Author: Winter has arrived. For some of us it may not be an interesting season. I know that children don’t want to bathe in winters or to wake up early for school. This is common but, remember that in the same season we love to sleep on holidays, we love to eat and drink hot coffee. So, there is always something good and bad. It depends on how you see them. Winters are not bad or boring but they are more energetic than others. It is the season of love, warmth, and joy.
